Educator. Storyteller. Advocate.

Diana Betancourt

She/her

I am a seasoned educator, facilitator, and strategist with over a decade of experience designing and delivering high-impact programs that center equity, community engagement, and organizational transformation. My areas of expertise span storytelling for social impact, culturally responsive curriculum design, strategic planning, and full-cycle program development—from ideation to implementation and evaluation.

As a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, I bring a data-informed, results-driven approach to solving complex problems, streamlining systems, and building capacity within organizations. My consulting work is grounded in collaboration, creativity, and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics across sectors.

With a career spanning tech, government, nonprofit, and education sectors, I draw from a broad and dynamic toolkit. I excel at building strong partnerships, working across cultures and communities, and creating inclusive infrastructures that drive meaningful learning and long-term impact. Whether I’m facilitating leadership trainings, co-designing equity frameworks, or launching new community initiatives, I bring a thoughtful and adaptive approach that meets clients where they are—and helps them move toward where they want to be.

I am the Co-Founder and serve as a Principal Consultant at Betancourt Torres & Associates, where I support companies and organizations in building equity-centered strategies and programs. I’m also the Director of Programs for the Southwest Washington Equity Coalition, and the Director of Operations at La Casita Art Gallery and Cultural Center, where I help bring cultural programming and exhibits to life while uplifting the work of local artists.
